Maintenance of Actuators and Valves at the Praia do SOMG Valve Station, Soyo, Angola

YEAR2024Share

EATS Metering Systems has successfully completed the maintenance of valves and actuators at the SOMG Beach Valve Station in Soyo, Angola. This achievement was possible thanks to the collaborative efforts of our dedicated team and the invaluable support of our partners, ROTORK and STARO.

The scope of the task included comprehensive annual inspections, stroke tests and partial stroke tests of Rotork’s state-of-the-art electro-hydraulic fluid power actuators and valves. In addition, our team carried out meticulous inspections of manual isolation ball valves, double block and bleed valves and gate valves.

These critical valves play a key role in the high-pressure natural gas pipelines coming from various offshore blocks in Angola and supplying gas to the Angola LNG Plant. Ensuring their optimum performance and reliability is fundamental to the smooth running of offshore oil and gas installations and the Angola LNG Plant.

At EATS Metering Systems, we are committed to delivering excellence in Actuator and Valve maintenance and service. This mission exemplifies our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability, while demonstrating the power of collaboration with industry-leading partners.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in the success of this project, including our talented Service Engineers and our valued partners. Together, we continue to drive innovation and excellence in the oil and gas industry, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of Angola’s critical onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.

Stay tuned for more updates on our projects and collaborations as we continue to pave the way for excellence in the industry!
